Ffc Fpc flat flexible connectors are the small interconnects that mate with flat ribbon cables and flexible printed circuits inside compact electronics. In this category you will mostly see ZIF and non-ZIF styles, right-angle and vertical board mounts, top-contact and bottom-contact variants, and pitch sizes that commonly run 0.3, 0.5 and 1.0 mm. What buyers actually check before placing an order is usually less glamorous than the datasheet headline. We see more problems from packaging than most people expect. Reels damaged in transit cause bent contacts, and loose bulk bags are a red flag when you are sourcing outside the franchised channel. Counterfeit FFC connectors do circulate, usually re-marked or pulled from scrap boards, so traceability and original manufacturer labels are worth asking about before you commit to a large reel. Unusual positions, high-temperature grades or automotive-qualified versions can stretch to eight to twelve weeks depending on factory capacity.
