Does date code really matter for gas and electrochemical sensors?
Yes, more than in most categories. Electrochemical and some optical gas sensors age on the shelf, so a two-year-old date code may have already lost a significant share of its rated operating life. We recommend specifying a maximum acceptable date code in your RFQ, and we will quote against that requirement rather than just whatever is on the shelf.
The part I need shows multiple suffixes for package and output type. How do I confirm I am ordering the right one?
Suffixes in this category often change the output interface, supply voltage range, or package, and a wrong suffix usually means the part will not work in your design.
